MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hope this Christmas is the beginning of the return of Merry Christmas. It is a joy to hear so many people say Merry Christmas again. Even in the shops, the service people returned my Merry Christmas greeting. I heard one man ask a casher if she was required to say Merry Christmas, and she replied that she was not. That she was offended if she could not use the Merry Christmas greeting. He said he did not celebrate Christmas and he was offended but the greeting. She apologized and replied she felt sorry for him and wished him well. Seemed like his attempt to destroy her joyous Christmas Spirit fell short and she kept on smiling and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

This time of year is the Christmas season. We made it that way both with religion and the secular shopping that goes on. The merchants rely on Christmas shopping to round off their years in the black. Since so much is depending on Christmas shopping then no one should be offended by the words “Merry Christmas”.

Hope the world enjoys the wonderful and magical time of year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
